國立雲林科技大學圖書資訊處設置要點

  • 本要點依據本校組織規程第七條規定訂定之。
  • 本校為提供圖書資訊資源,發揮支援教學、研究與資訊傳播功能,並推動資訊科技的運用,提升服務品質,設立「圖書與資訊處」(以下簡稱本處)
  • 本處置圖資長一人,掌理圖資事宜,下設讀者服務、採訪編目、網路資安、資訊系統、資訊應用等組,各組置組長一名,職員若干人。辦理圖書及資訊相關業務、藝術文化推廣與展演活動服務等事項。
  • 本處各組權責項目如下:
  1. 讀者服務組:圖書館流通閱覽典藏之讀者服務、機構典藏徵集管理、館際交流合作與共享資源聯盟計畫之推展、校史館營運暨數位校史館維護管理、藝術中心展覽檔期規劃暨典藏徵集營運推展、各類評鑑作業暨內部控制稽核規劃執行、校內外團體參訪導覽接待與動線規劃、圖書館空間營造之規畫執行、讀者意見諮詢服務、承接全校性專案計畫及教育部學術電子資源永續發展計畫等。
  2. 採訪編目組:圖書資訊之選擇採訪與交換贈送、圖書資訊之分類編目與加工移送、館藏書目資料管理與維護、書目共享服務、期刊閱覽與管理及多元主題展活動辦理與規畫等。
  3. 網路資安組:校園骨幹網路管理、資訊機房之環境管理與監控、校園網路系統建置與管理及校園資通訊安全之規劃與推動等。
  4. 資訊系統組:校務行政資訊系統之設計、開發與維護。
  5. 資訊應用組:各項資訊類講習與訓練、全校性授權軟體之管理、本處資料中心之規劃及建置與維運、校園 IC 卡系統維運、數位多媒體典藏平台之維運、數位學習系統平台之維運、公文系統平台之維運、學校首頁網站之維運、本處電腦教室之管理等。
  • 本要點經圖書資訊處主管會議通過後實施,修正時亦同。

 

Regulations for the Establishment of the Office of Library and Information Services of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology


Approved at the 2nd Supervisory Meeting of the Office of Library and Information Services for the 113th Academic Year on April 28, 2025

1. These regulations are formulated under Article 7 of the Organizational Regulations of YunTech.

2. To provide library and information resources, support teaching, research, and information dissemination, promote the application of information technology, and enhance service quality, YunTech hereby establishes the Office of Library and Information Services (hereinafter referred to as “the Office”).

3. The Office is headed by the Dean of Library and Information Services, responsible for all library and information-related affairs. It comprises the following divisions: Reader Services, Acquisition and Cataloging, Network Security, Information Systems, and Information Management and Operations. Each division is led by a Director and staffed with appropriate personnel. The Office is also responsible for the implementation of library and information services, as well as the promotion and coordination of arts, cultural activities, and exhibitions.

4. The responsibilities of each division within the Office are as follows:

(1) Reader Services Division: Responsible for circulation, reading, and collection services; acquisition and management of the institutional repository; interlibrary cooperation and promotion of resource-sharing alliances; operation and maintenance of the University History Museum and its digital archives; planning and promotion of exhibitions and collection development at the Arts Center; coordination of evaluations and implementation of internal control audits; reception and guided tours for internal and external groups, including route planning; planning and implementation of library space design; reader consultation and feedback services; undertaking university-wide projects and the Ministry of Education’s Academic Electronic Resources Sustainable Development Program.

(2) Acquisition and Cataloging Division: Responsible for the selection, acquisition, exchange, and donation of library materials; classification, cataloging, processing, and transfer of resources; management and maintenance of bibliographic data; bibliographic sharing services; management of periodicals; and planning and organization of various thematic exhibitions and activities.

(3) Network Security Division: Responsible for managing the campus backbone network; environmental monitoring and control of the information center; establishment and maintenance of campus network systems; and planning and promotion of campus information and communication security.

(4) Information Systems Division: Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of administrative information systems related to university affairs.

(5) Information Management & Operation Division: Responsible for conducting information-related workshops and training; managing university-wide licensed software; planning, establishment, and maintenance of the Office’s data center; operation and maintenance of the campus IC card system; digital multimedia archive platform; digital learning system platform; official document system; the university’s official website; and the administration of the Office’s computer classrooms.

5. These regulations shall be implemented upon approval by the Directors’ Meeting of the Office of Library and Information Services, and any amendments shall follow the same procedure.
