【Activity】Cycles of Time: Sunny Wang Glass Exhibition Guided Tour

Born in Yunlin, Professor Wang has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Glass Art at Hong Kong Baptist University since 2007, where she also assisted in designing and establishing a glass art studio. Prior to her moving to Hong Kong, she taught at the National Taiwan University of Arts and was subsequently invited multiple times by the National Taiwan University of Arts and the National Tainan University of Arts to serve as a tutor for intensive glass art workshops. She was later invited to teach at The Glass Furnace in Istanbul, Turkey.

Professor Wang has held numerous individual and group exhibitions around the world, and her works are collected by many public and private entities in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Italy, France, Japan, Germany, the UK, and the US. Dr. Wang has received numerous awards, including the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Award and Taiwan's Golden Glass Award. Her work has been widely recognized and exhibited at the International Glass Exhibition in Kanazawa, Japan. As a leading glass artist in East Asia, she continues to explore the possibilities of material and meaning creation in contemporary glass art.

Returning to her hometown for an exhibition holds special significance for Professor Wang.
