【Exhibition】Me and Our Story – About "Who Killed Billy Billie"

This exhibition expands Who Killed Billy Billie from cinema to the museum, exploring how moving images transform across spaces. Directed by Lin Yu-Wei, the film addresses contemporary social and gender issues. Its 2024 release sparked a street performance, drawing media attention, while curator Wei Tian-Jian had already introduced it as an exhibition film in 2023.
Using a theatrical concept and multi-screen projections, the exhibition reconstructs fragmented narratives and inner emotions. Lin Yu-Wei reflects on family and reconciliation through re-enactment and revisitation, while Wei Tian-Jian’s City Portrait series explores urban alienation. Together, they use imagery to capture the essence of our time, evoking collective memory and emotion.
