2025 Book Selection Festival – “You Choose, We Pay!” Book Exhibition Event

The annual Book Selection Festival is back! From Wednesday, April 23 to Thursday, April 24, 2025, YunTech Library invites everyone to become a book selector—for the Library and yourself. Come and enjoy the fun of choosing books for purchase. During the event, books you select may be purchased by the Library. Want to read the latest books? Don't miss the Book Selection Festival!
1. Event Title:
“You Choose, We Pay!” Book Exhibition Event
2. Participants:

Chinese Books: All faculty, staff, and students of YunTech

Western Books: Departmental library committee members and full-time faculty only
3. Registration Methods:

Online Registration: Unlimited number of online sign-ups. Participants who successfully register and take part in book selection during the event will be eligible for a prize draw.

On-site Book Selection: Walk-in participation during event hours is welcome.
4. Event Time:
April 23 (Wed.) to April 24 (Thu.), 2025, daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
5. Event Venue:
1st Floor Lobby, Library
6. Exhibition Details:
Approximately 3,000 selected Chinese and Western books are on display
7. Event Guidelines:

All YunTech members may select up to three Chinese books of their choice.

Selection of Western books is limited to departmental library committee members and full-time faculty (costs will be covered by departmental library funds).

Participants must present a valid faculty/staff ID or student ID when joining the activity.

During the selection process, books can be handed to on-site staff; the Library will make final purchase decisions based on budget.

In addition to book selection, books can also be purchased on-site—credit cards (including Taiwan National Travel Card) are accepted for personal purchases.

Once cataloged, selected books will be available for priority borrowing by the participants who chose them.

For online registrants, the Library will draw 20 winners to receive NT$100 convenience store gift vouchers. Winners will be announced separately.
