The online book recommendation service is now available

The online book recommendation service is open for use starting Monday, September 8.

I. Accessing the Service

You can access the Book Recommendation Service on the library's homepage or directly at this link: https://www.libwebpac.yuntech.edu.tw/bookrecommend

II. Important Guidelines for Recommendations

Please follow these guidelines when using the service:

1. To recommend materials, you must fill out the application form on the Book Recommendation System. Make sure to provide accurate and complete bibliographic information, including the title, author, publisher, publication year, and ISBN.

2. Recommendation Principles:

   • Each user may recommend a maximum of five items per month. This limit includes all recommendations, regardless of their status (approved, unapproved, duplicates, or cancelled).

   • Within this limit, you can recommend a maximum of two foreign language books available from domestic suppliers per month.

   • You can also recommend a maximum of two general books of the same type per month.

   • The recommended price limit for each book is NT$1,000 for Chinese books and NT$2,000 for foreign books.

   • Due to limited funding, the library will only selectively purchase books on popular subjects such as comics, light novels, hobby, health, religion, finance, and travel. We have many similar books in our collection already. These recommendations will be compiled and reviewed at the end of each semester, so please recommend carefully.

III. Application Period

The service will be open for applications this semester from Monday, September 8, to Friday, November 14.
