What should I do if I can't find the book?

• Search on the bookshelf:

The website shows that the book is in the library but can’t find the book on the bookshelf. You can go to the circulation counter on the first floor to ask the librarian to help. There are some common reasons:

1. The book has just been returned and has not been put on the bookshelf yet.
2. The book has been put on the bookshelf but has been took to read by other readers.
3. The readers didn’t put the book back on the bookshelf after reading.

For these reasons, please readers cooperate with putting the book back on the bookshelf or the book cart (at the path of the book stack) to decrease the situation of can’t find the book.

• Fill in the sheet for Assistance with finding:

You can go to the circulation counter on the first floor to fill in the sheet for Assistance with finding. The librarian will help to find the book as soon as possible and apprise the result to the readers.

• Borrow the book from other schools:

You can fill in the interlibrary loan sheet or copy sheet online to borrow or copy (have to pay) the book you want from the other school. You can also register to borrow the Interlibrary Cooperation library card and go to borrow the book at other schools.
